Pamela qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 and as a Body Control Pilates teacher in 2002. Pamela’s field of speciality is musculoskeletal and worked to a Senior level in the NHS before setting up Core Health in 2004. Pamela experienced back pain in her early twenties and found her own practice of Pilates to be the main factor in, not only reducing her pain, but subsequently then also changing her posture, shape and flexibility. Pamela has expanded her initial training in many areas including advanced matwork, reformer, cadillac, all small equipment, ante and post natal, children’s Pilates as well as 18 years of workshops and CPD. Pamela is passionate about applying the principles of Pilates to all forms of training. Pamela is a supervising teacher for the Body Control Pilates Association, as such, helping to train student teachers to their high level of teaching standards.

Laura Murray

Laura became interested in Pilates about 12 years ago after being recommended it by her physio after sustaining a bad injury from marathon training. Already trained and working as a fitness and dance teacher, Laura was amazed by how much Pilates, more than anything else, improved her overall strength and running form, whilst also making her feel fab and relaxed! In 2013 she did an intensive one to one teacher training with Pilates trainer Ellie Herdman at her studio inBrooklyn, NY which was a dream come true. She completed her Level 3 Matwork certification when she returned home to the UK and has since done further specialised courses with BCPA including pre and post natal which she has a particular interest in. She has also now competed her reformer training.

April Alexandra

“I do not believe in restriction, starvation, counting calories, diet foods, excessive exercise without structure, or trying to heal the body from the outside. I believe in eating nutrient dense whole foods that truly nourish your body on a cellular level, understanding your body and most importantly feeling empowered, confident and beautiful in your own skin. Low energy, poor sleep, chronic fatigue, thyroid (hyper/hypo), food intolerance, IBS C and D, weight loss, weight gain, eczema, high BP, joint inflammation, diabetes type 1 and 2 – the list of symptoms is endless that optimal nutrition can support when built into a balanced lifestyle. How you fuel your body is how you fuel your life. When you feed your body with goodness and love, the results speak for themselves. It’s the most empowering, amazing feeling and I want you to feel the same way.”

“Everyone is an architect of their own happiness.”
